we drove to nevada, three sheets to the wind, gas-food-lodging all in. but vegas dollars they won't get us far, we sure need a bright lucky star. i thought we were happy with cheap wine and all, but you rolled your eyes and you smiled. a star and a half, it won't raise the bar, you said, then you just walked away. let me down, down easy, take me back as a friend. let me down, down easy, i need to see you again. don't know where i'm heading but i can't stand still, not sure what city i'm in. a bouquet of strangers with cheap wine and all, i roll my eyes and i cry. it took 300
dollars to just walk away, right now i'm half way alone. i need something that won't fade away, some place that i can call home.
